Follow-up Appointment
Service Description
Please plan to be in clinic for a minimum of 60-80 minutes for all your follow-up acupuncture appointments. Normally patients require having acupuncture needles placed and left inserted for up to 30 minutes. Although, certain illnesses do require longer or shorter insertion times. Also expect to spend another 30 minutes in clinic with Dr. Huang to discuss any changes/improvements in your health.
Cancellation Policy
For cancelations, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged. If your insurance covers acupuncture and you'd like to have your insurance billed for services at Bay Area Integrative Health Care we want you to know that Dr. Huang is currently in the process of getting contracted with all major insurance companies (just like when he was seeing patients at Stanford). Unfortunately, this process can take up to 120 days. During this time all appointments will need to be considered self-pay. We will be offering a discounted rate for patients needing to pay out of pocket and special pricing for appointment packages purchased. If you would like to wait until after Dr. Huang is contracted, and able to bill insurance, let us know and we can cancel any appointments you previously booked and contact you once the credentialing process has been completed.
